Cultivating Murder
“This is a documentary that must be seen across NSW and Australia.”

THE STORY
Murder. Environmental destruction. Government corruption. Greed.
Cultivating Murder is an important documentary that follows the aftermath of the murder of Glen Turner, an Environmental Compliance Officer who was shot by a farmer engaged in illegal land clearing in the small town of Croppa Creek, New South Wales, Australia. The murder trial is closely followed, as the outcome could set the tone for future interactions between farmers and civil officers. Will Glen’s family receive justice? Or will corrupt government officials continue to turn a blind eye to the interests of big agribusiness?
IMPACT
Director Gregory Miller made the film as a tribute to Glen, and to raise awareness about the ongoing devastation of Australia’s native ecosystems and the long term ramifications it could have for humans and animals alike.
