Our process is expansive and visionary, which allows us to creatively weave together different kinds of media. We bring together themes and elements of shared human experience that impact people throughout the world.
Waël Kabbani
Waël is the founder and executive creative director of Iambic Dream Films & Iambic Dream Inc., independent production companies producing music, film, and animation. He is an executive producer of award-winning and critically acclaimed films, including “We Are Many”, “Open Bethlehem”, “Life Is Sacred”, “Studio 17: The Lost Reggae Tapes”, “Cultivating Murder”, “Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story”, and “What Walaa Wants”. Waël’s films have been screened at international film festivals, including the Berlinale/Berlin International Film Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest, and Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. WHAT WALAA WANTS was awarded the Directors Guild of Canada’s Special Jury Prize for Canadian Feature Documentary, as well as four other awards. The film was nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards, which are the Canadian equivalent of the Academy Awards, and Waël was also nominated for a CSA. Before getting into films, he was and continues to be an award-winning
songwriter and the creator of a global network of animated superheroes called “The Utopians’Alliance”.
Pat Tura
Pat Tura serves as a business consultant committed to helping grow the future of Iambic Dream Inc. Pat has over 25 years of professional experience in consumer innovation, integrating strategy, design thinking and social research to provide profitable, sustainable business solutions. Known for taking on complex business challenges as a cross-functional team leader and delivering a creative unified vision, Pat is adept at cross-cultural business collaboration and managing global and virtual teams. When not consulting, she’s usually cycling, advocating for pedestrian safety, or curing and pickling some tasty morsel.
Amir Amirani
Amir Amirani is a British film-maker who, along with his brother Taghi, established Amirani Media. The company specializes in high quality films for a wide range of prestigious international broadcasters in the UK, Europe, and America. Amir’s work includes films for several of the BBC’s flagship series, including award winning Arena, Timewatch, Picture This, Correspondent, and Newsnight. His documentaries often deal with difficult and provocative themes. Amir was nominated for an Amnesty International Award and a One World Broadcasting Trust award for two of his films. He has a degree in Biology from Nottingham University and a Master of Philosophy degree in International Relations from Cambridge University. Amir lives in London, enjoys dancing and cooking, recently got an allotment on which one day he is sure he will grow his own vegetables, and sometimes plays with a Rubik’s Cube to pass the time.
Michel Cavro
Michel Cavro is a designer, illustrator, and graphic artist specializing in 2D & 3D graphics and animation. With 15 years’ experience and counting, Michel definitely knows his way around CGI. He founded his company Cristal in 2013 in Luxembourg; a country he now calls home. Michel began his studies with five years in the French Navy, then pursued degrees in business and architecture in Los Angeles, California. He works on projects that involve visual & concept arts, as well as animation for film and other mediums throughout the world. His other passions include cycling, playing golf, being an epicurean and a gourmet chef.
